The "Farmers" are unarmed Christian villagers from several different tribes who happen to be Christians. The Fulani are NOT indigenous to the lands they are attacking. On September 26, about 200 faithful of the Society of St. Pius X (FSSPX) made their annual pilgrimage to the Canadian Martyrs’ Shrine in Midland, Ontario. Their published programme scheduled veneration of the relics at the Shrine at 3 p.m. The pilgrims were denied entrance to the church.
