(28) After some more time had passed in such poverty, the enemy of all those who have set foot on earth appeared again. This time he came in the appearance of the Virgin Mary with her little Son in her arms. He addressed her and spoke thus, scolding her: “You have not wished to abandon your wicked self-love, and I will not give you the virtuous love that is my little Son’s.” And having said this, he disappeared like a person who was upset. And she, thinking that it was the Mother of Christ, pondered very bitterly, believing that she was estranged from her and her Son.

Cardinal Parolin Speaks of Possible Canonical Penalties for German Bishops

It is premature to foresee an intervention by the Holy See regarding the German bishops on the blessings for homosexuals. Cardinal Pietro Parolin said this at the Augustinianum to present the book “Robert Francis Prevost. Free Under Grace”, as reported by VaticanNews.va on May 6.
At this moment, Cardinal Parolin said, there is “dialogue”: “Let us see what happens.”
He reiterated that the decision belongs to the Pope.
“But in any case," he continued, “we have already for some time begun a dialogue, each expressing our own views.”
Cardinal Parolin hopes that sanctions will not be necessary and that problems may be resolved peacefully, as should be the case in the Church.

Tucho Repeats: German Blessing for Homosexuals Lacks Vatican Approval

Cardinal Tucho Fernández repeated to VaticanNews.va on May 6 that the German “blessing guide” for homosexuals and other couples in mortal sin does not have Vatican approval. The pro-homosexual cardinal is a soft-porn author and Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith.
He stated that a letter he sent in November 2024 regarding an earlier draft of the German bishops’ blessing guidelines remains fully applicable to the final version approved in April 2025. The German bishops’ document in question is titled Blessing Gives Strength to Love. They falsely claimed Vatican support for their guidelines.
The Vatican’s release of the November 2024 letter was “in agreement with Pope Leo XIV.”
“That letter is the only and final response,” Tucho told Bishop Stephan Ackermann of Trier, chairman of the German bishops’ liturgy commission, during a meeting in the Vatican on November 12, 2025.
Tucho explained that although the final German text differs somewhat from the original draft …ད་རུང་།

By refuting the formal ritual of the pseudo-blessing of sodomitic concubines—devised by the schismatic German apostates—Tucho reaffirms his own sacrilegious and "informal" pseudo-blessing for sodomitic concubines; while it might appear that he is taking a step backward, in reality he is moving forward by reaffirming his own pseudo-blessing.

The Catholic Church never stops teaching infallibly: here’s how

Matthew McCusker

Both liberals and traditionalists are often under the false impression that the infallible exercise of the Church’s teaching authority is something which occurs only rarely.

For this reason, LifeSiteNews will continue to publish the remaining installments of this series. We ask our readers to pray for the repose of Francis’s soul.

Church in Mozambique Destroyed in Islamist Attack

Islamists attacked the parish of St. Louis de Montfort in Meza, Cabo Delgado, northern Mozambique, on April 30.
According to Aid to the Church in Need (ACN), militants entered the parish in the afternoon and destroyed the church, parish offices, missionaries’ residence, and kindergarten.
Buildings were set on fire and the historic church was reduced to rubble.
The parish was founded in 1946 and was one of the main Catholic landmarks in the region.
Bishop António Juliasse of Pemba said civilians were captured and forced to listen to speeches during the attack. The Cameroonian missionaries serving the parish were not present when the attackers arrived and were unharmed.
There were no confirmed deaths during the April 30 attack.
The insurgency in Cabo Delgado has continued since 2017 and has caused thousands of deaths and displaced more than one million people. Church officials say at least 118 churches and chapels have been destroyed during the conflict.

In a statement reported by the Associated Press on Monday, the bishops urged the Lebanese government and the United Nations to intervene and protect the property of civilians and religious institutions. They described the destruction — carried out after residents obeyed Israeli evacuation orders — as “a deep wound in the national and human conscience.”

BEIRUT (AP) — A branch of the Catholic church expressed deep concern Monday over reports that Israel was demolishing civilian and religious buildings in parts of southern Lebanon under its control, following allegations that a convent had been bulldozed.
The Council of Melkite Greek Catholic Bishops in Lebanon urged the Lebanese government and the United Nations to protect the property of civilians and religious institutions, citing in particular the village of Yaroun where officials said Israeli troops
destroyed a Melkite convent earlier this month among other demolition. The bishops called the destruction of buildings, after residents of the area had evacuated, a “deep wound in the national and human conscience.”

Vatican Synodal Reports Assaults Holy Scripture – Bishop Strickland: The report by the Vatican's synodal group on homosexuality “is deeply alarming and stands in direct contradiction to the constant teaching of the Catholic Church”, writes Bishop Joseph Strickland: “To suggest that the sin does not consist in the same-sex relationship itself is not merely confusing language. It is a direct assault upon Catholic moral doctrine and upon the words of Scripture itself.” Monsignor Strickland adds that this atmosphere of doctrinal instability is part of the reason why the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X argues that extraordinary measures are necessary in our time.

Archimandrite Boniface Luykx (1915–2004) was a Belgian Premonstratensian canon regular, professor, and liturgical scholar. From 1960 to 1971 he served as a missionary in Africa, where he founded the Monastère de l’Assomption and taught at Lovanium University in Kinshasa, Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo). French Bishop Removes Three Conservative Priests After Parish Disputes

The Diocese of Amiens, northern France, has announced that it will not renew the mission of three conservative priests from the Diocese of Fréjus-Toulon after months of “growing tensions” within the parishes.
Fathers François-Régis Favre, Éloi Legrand, and Pierre-Marie Brochery, began serving in the parishes of Albert, Bray-sur-Somme, Mailly-Maillet, and Acheux in September 2025. They will depart at the end of the current pastoral year.
In a statement released on April 27, Bishop Gérard Le Stang said the decision followed “a long period of reflection” and consultations with diocesan clergy and parishioners. He described the situation as having created a “deep and lasting disruption” within the communities.
Cassocks, Novus Ordo in Latin
The priests drew criticism from some parishioners for wearing cassocks, celebrating the Novus Ordo partly in Latin, and emphasizing moral teaching.
Complaints also emerged regarding what some described as divisive preaching.

Synod report suggests homosexual 'relationships' may not be sinful - LifeSite

Tue May 5, 2026 - 12:08 pm EDTTue May 5, 2026 - 5:40 pm EDT
(
LifeSiteNews) — A report from the Vatican’s General Secretariat of the Synod published Tuesday suggests a reframing of homosexuality, endorsing testimony without qualification that “sin, at its root, does not consist in the (same-sex) couple relationship” but in “a lack of faith in a God who desires our fulfilment.”
The Vatican-commissioned Study Group 9 of the Synod on Synodality published its Final Report May 5, “Theological criteria and synodal methodologies for shared discernment of emerging doctrinal, pastoral, and ethical issues.” Under the heading, “Taking a synodal approach to discernment: A proposal for implementation in local Churches,” the 32-page document relies on the testimonies of the “lived experience” of two individuals with same-sex attraction to “aid the promotion of pastoral discernment.”
Framing the two testimonies as “experiences of goodness” which constitute “successive stages of development in …
